Deadline Extended: Contact Your Senators Today Regarding High-Cost USF Letter

Arlington, Va., (October 24, 2017)—Sens. Jerry Moran (R-KS), Pat Roberts (R-KS) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) are circulating a letter to their fellow senators that encourages the FCC to address the Universal Service Fund budget shortfalls. 

NTCA is asking members to contact their senators to ask them to cosign the letter. The deadline to sign the letter has been extended to close of business Monday, October 30, so please contact them ASAP!

You can use these talking points as a template when drafting your email. Please include company specific information to personalize the message as much as possible. If you need help contacting your senators, contact the Government Affairs team for assistance.

Additionally, attendees of the Telecom Executive Policy Summit this week in Washington, D.C., will also ask Senators to cosign the letter during hill meetings.
