Fall Conference Day Two Centers on Education Sessions and Peer-to-Peer Discussions

Boston, Mass. (September 22, 2015)A fun run and walk around Boston’s historical district kicked off day two of Fall Conference as a part of NTCA’s wellness program. Then meeting participants did a deep dive on key issues and opportunities facing the telecommunications industry. 

The morning got underway with the second set of concurrent sessions that featured discussions about collaboration and competition in the business of broadband as well as ways providers can plan their over-the-top video revenue models. Other sessions focused on developing a company culture and board strategies.

The afternoon featured roundtable discussions that gave participants the opportunity to ask questions and offer feedback in order to learn from their peers. Sessions centered on everything from adapting benefit plans to changing company culture to effective workplace communication and why marketing is more critical than ever for telecommunications providers.

Spouses and guests captivated by Christopher Grace, mentalist and mind reader, who mixed mind reading, psychology, suggestion and comedy to excite the audience. Boston duck boat tours continued as conference participants took in historical sites and sampled from local eateries. 

The day closed with a #ruraliscool reception and vendor showcase. Tabletop exhibits provided information about their newest products and services in the industry.

The final day of the conference promises more excitement from closing general session keynoter Carey Lohrenz, author and former aviator, who will share approaches for delivering great results in even the most challenging situations.
