On March 5, 2018, NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association submitted comments in response to comments filed in the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in the above captioned proceeding MB Docket Number 17-317 and 17-105.
On March 18, 2019, the American Television Alliance (ATVA), filed comments questioning the benefits to consumers if the Nexstar-Tribune merger proceeds. NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association is a partner with ATVA.
On October 4, 2018 NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association, together with Denny Law, general manager and chief executive officer of Golden West Telecommunications, met with Nicholas Degani, Senior Counsel to Chairman Ajit Pai to discuss matter in the reference proceedings.
