Recognize Excellence Within Your Community or Industry

The highest recognition of individual achievement is the eXcellence Awards Program, which pays tribute to individuals in eight categories.

By nominating someone for an NTCA eXcellence Award, you help NTCA provide national recognition for those who have shown commitment to their community and our industry. You also promote awareness of rural achievements and highlight positive impacts on your community.

Award recipients will be honored at an award luncheon and recognized by 2,400 of their industry peers at RTIME.

Congratulations to the NTCA 2019 eXcellence Awards winners who were honored during a ceremony at RTIME 2020.

New Category — Community Outreach

Recent circumstances brought about because of the COVID-19 pandemic has shed light on individuals we often do not consider on the front line or as someone just doing their job on a normal day. As this current situation continues to unfold, we are taking a step back and applauding those individuals who, with humbleness and sincerity, are working and volunteering to keep our communities strong, safe, nourished and educated.

Therefore, NTCA added the new eXcellence Awards category of Community Outreach that recognizes an employee of a telecommunications provider, other than a general manager or director, who has performed extraordinary service, led collaborative efforts, and demonstrated dedication and compassion to assist where your local area needs it the most for the benefit of rural communities. If you have an employee in your company who fits these criteria, you can nominate this person for this new award.
