The Accountant role will support the Accounting Manager and Accounting Team, with monthly closing responsibilities for timely accurate financial reporting. This position requires a positive, professional, detail-oriented individual that possesses excellent communication skills.
Essential Job Functions:
•Monthly Bank Reconciliations.
•Monthly General Ledger Account Reconciliations.
•Assist in Monthly Financial Statement closing process.
•Fixed Assets record keeping.
•Inventory processes and procedures.
•Work Order Closing and reconciliations.
•Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
•Knowledge of US GAAP.
•Assist in Federal and State Regulatory and Tax Reporting functions.
•Continue to show improvement in all job functions and responsibilities through utilization of resources, training materials and opportunities provided both within and outside the Company.
•Ability to perform essential job functions with accuracy.
•Assist other employees as needed.
•Perform all other related duties as assigned by manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Teamwork is required and an important part of this role.
•Experience with Sage50 (Peachtree), Thompson Reuters Fixed Asset programs a plus.
•Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.
•Ability to pay close attention to detail.
•Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand.
•Skill in oral and written communication.
•Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner.
•Ability to adapt to change quickly, utilizing a positive, professional attitude.

Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Required
