NTCA GHP implemented utilization management services from eviCore healthcare starting in 2021 to provide precertification reviews of advanced radiological services for plan participants. United Clinical Services through UnitedHealthcare continues to provide precertification reviews for other services. Review these resources to learn more about the review process and how precertification helps to ensure individuals receive the right care at the right time.
As a member-driven program, the NTCA GHP Trust Committee periodically reviews and enhances services to ensure the program meet the needs of members and your employees. Telehealth benefits were expanded last year to include behavioral health services through Teladoc®. Watch this video to learn how these services are vital to individuals especially during this challenging time of increased stress and anxiety. Livongo® has been added as a complimentary GHP medical plan service beginning in 2021 to provide diabetes and hypertension management support to individuals living with these conditions.
