The 2015 Rural Youth Telecommunications Survey is now available. There are three documents that will help you promote the survey amongst youth in your community.. The tip sheet, flyer, and draft cover letter are all designed to increase participation. FRS thanks you in advance for your help and dedication the youth of rural America.
The Foundation for Rural Service produces a biennial survey that helps community-based service providers gauge the usage patterns and buying trends of the domestic youth market. The Rural Youth Telecommunications Survey is an essential tool to gauge the telecommunications needs of rural youth between the ages of 14-23. Every other year, the Foundation sends out a request to thousands of youth across the country, in the service areas of NTCA telco members.
The landscape of the telecommunications marketplace is in a constant state of flux. This survey can be used by rural telecommunications providers and their PR and marketing teams to help direct their marketing campaigns more accurately to the ever changing needs of young consumers. It is also a valuable educational tool for legislators, media outlets and schools.
